Shri Kathgola Tirth

Mulnayak: Shri Adhishvar Bhagavan, Padmasana Posture, White coloured idol , 60 cms. in height.

Tirth Place: The temple is in middle of 30 Acre garden which is in Nasipur. Nasipur is on the way of Bahrampur about 3 kms. away from Jiyaganj.

History: This temple was built in 1633 V.S. by Babu Lakshmipath Singh, who was inspired by his mother.

Specialty: This temple is one of main tirth's among the 5 others in Bengal. The temples architecture is very interesting.

Other Temples:  At present in this place there are no other Jain temples.

Art and Sculptures:  The temple is situated in front of a pond and the view is very beautiful. The big idols of Dwarpal on either side of entrance look as if there is life in them.

Guidelines: The nearest railway station is Jiyaganj which is at a distance of 3 kms. Here transport facilities are available upto the temple.

Facilites:  There is Dharmashala in Jiyaganj from there we can come to Kathgola. All the other facilities are available.
